Unit Seven: Israel's Songbook (1st-5th Grade)
Israel’s Songbook is a unit based on the Book of Psalms. In the Storyline Scope and Sequence, it is ideally done during the summertime. It focuses on the different types of songs that we have recorded in the Book of Psalms, and how each of those songs connects to different types of experiences and feelings that we all have as human beings. This unit teaches kids that all of these feelings can be used to worship God.

The 1st-5th grade version includes the following eight lessons plus a Unit Overview (a sheet that includes learning targets, discovery/reflection points, supplies, and suggested supplemental resources for each lesson in the unit).
